Charitable Givings
The online casino and poker gambling industry sometimes gets an
unjust bad rap from the mainstream international media – there is definitely a
market demand for sensationalized stories about problems and issues that crop up
within the internet gambling industry. But there is another side to many of the
companies and gambling sites, a charitable side that often goes unnoticed in the
media but is there nonetheless. For the new ChipMeUp staking site, the fact that
it is already supporting charitable causes goes a long way toward establishing
the site as a valid part of the online poker gambling industry.
ChipMeUp launched onto the market just recently and already has piqued the
interest of some of the top land and online casino poker gamblers in the market
– they are agreeing to the terms of the site and allowing other gamblers to buy
a portion of their poker skill set. The latest news though centers on the Asian
Poker Tour (APT) and the deal that the APT has struck with ChipMeUp in regards
to the Poker Pack. The Poker Pack competed at the Aussie Millions land poker
tourney last week (which featured the best of the land and online caisno poker
gambling industries) and APT pledged that the poker tour would donate five
percent of any winnings to charity. The Poker Pack was at the Aussie Millions
sponsored by ChipMeUp.
The great thing about giving within the online casino gambling industry is that
it is contagious and often encourages other gamblers to pursue similar
charitable endeavors with their winnings. Already others on the ChipMeUp staking
site have pledged to donate all or portions of their winnings to charitable
causes.
