Read Up on Industry
Newbies to the online casino gambling industry could do well to get some
research and reading under their belts. The internet is a great resource for
information about all of the different areas of the gaming industry from poker
to wagering and even nice markets. But for those old-fashioned folks who still
like to actually glean information by cracking open the spine of an actual book,
there is hope out there for those individuals too. The internet has not yet
totally eclipsed the medium of actual tangible and holdable printed out books
and there are a few great ones out there that are perfect for gamblers who are
new to gambling and even some that will walk gamblers through the developing
medium of online casino gambling and gaming.
Two great books that should be a first consideration for any new online casino
gamblers is a book by John G. Brokopp that has some extra bonus pages too and a
wealth of pertinent information: Insider’s Guide to Internet Gambling or Your
Sourcebook for Safe and Profitable Gambling. The book is highly informative and
surprisingly not yet outdated even though it was written and published eight
years previously (a near eternity in the internet world). This book is a
fantastic general guide to getting situated in the industry and figuring out
which end is which at the online casinos.
Poker players though also have the fantastic resource of poker pros who have
gone before them. In this case, Doyle Brunson’s book is an industry standard and
a must for newbies to the poker industry or even those online casino gamblers
transitioning into a new sector of the market. |
