Politicians in the United States are beginning to show their support for the online casino gambling industry now that an increasing amount of research is coming out that indicates that the pastime really isn’t as dangerous as they have made it sound. But in actuality, the research indicates that the online casinos are not really any more dangerous than the land gambling venues.

As more of the true research comes to the surface and finds its way into the hands of US politicians, the support for a legalized and regulated US online casino gambling industry is growing. Just this week Barney Frank’s aides have announced that the number of co-sponsors for his internet gambling related bill is still growing. The online casinos are a hot topic right now and one that is heating up in the media. The conservative Republicans are quick to speak against the online casinos but the information and research cited by the top conservative politicians has been largely false.

Legislators and politicians have less fears about the effects of a legalized and regulated online casino gambling industry because of research that has come out of such credible venues as the Harvard Medical School. Research from all over the world is converging on the opinion that a properly regulated internet gambling industry is actually safer than the illegal and black market gambling sites that currently cater to US gamblers.
