Irish Lovin' on Poker
President Obama has taken on a tough job this term and has a lot on his plate.
There is just no denying that between the economic crises and health care
reform, topped off with the issues and situations to handle in foreign
international relations, online casino gambling may be pretty far from the
president’s current priority. But that means that there is a pretty big
discrepancy between what the president feels is important and what the people of
the US have said in internet polls. US citizens are ready for immediate change
concerning online casinos and internet betting in the states. Obama made
campaign promises but has not actually taken his stance on internet censorship
and done anything with it.
The people of the US are asking for Obama to finally stand up for the rights of
the online caisno gambling industry and stop the needless US censorship of
internet rights. The conservative right has pushed the banning of offshore
online casinos for several years now and there was a lot of hope that Obama
would come in, take charge, and right many of the wrongs perpetrated by the Bush
administration. That really has yet to happen though. There are a lot of people
who feel that President Obama has been a lot less aggressive and “take-charge”
as is needed right now.
Again, there is no denying that the economy was a huge and pressing issue that
required the constant attention and focus of the president, but now the voters
are wondering when President Obama is going to start making good on some of his
other campaign promises, particular those related to internet rights and the
online casino gambling industry. |
