Huge Payout Bubble
Gambling in poker is a pretty sweet deal for talented land and online casino
poker players – one of the best features of the game is the fact that the payout
bubble can often extend to more than fifty players. In most other forms of
gambling a jackpot goes to the winning player and all the rest of the players
are considered losers. When gambling at the online casinos with virtual poker
rooms, however, the situation is completely different – the game of poker pays
out the prize pool in what is referred to as a payout bubble. This bubble
divvies up the prize pool money in a tiered payout with the winning player
getting the largest chunk while other players at the final table also receive
large sums – from that point the money is paid out in smaller sums all the way
down the line.
At Full Tilt Poker last weekend, one lucky online casino poker gambler showed
some impressive skills by winning the Sunday $750,000 Guaranteed tourney. The
weekend tourney always attracts a lot of players because there is so much money
in question and because, it you have the skills to stay in the game for long
enough you are likely to walk home with at least some winnings. The winning
player last weekend, known by the handle “SCNoodle” managed to beat out some all
of the other skilled players at the final table and received his payout of
$137,461 happily.
Other final table players at the online casino poker room took home winnings in
the tens of thousands and according to Full Tilt, the payout bubble lasted
beyond the fifties – poker gambler Esther Rossi came in 55th place and received
a notable payout of $1,436. |
