The Final Table has never before occurred months after the main event, but this year the Main Event ended in July yet the final table was scheduled for November as a way to draw out the excitement. The WSOP crowns the cream of the crop of land and online casino poker gamblers and Eastgate actually came a bit out of left field with his win. He was down in chips when he faced off against Ivan Demidov, a Russian gambler who took home second place. But in the end Eastgate was able to pull ahead over the nearly 250 hands it took to win out over Demidov. Eastgate walked home with a cool $9,119,517.
