More Advertising Options
The online casinos and betting companies are on a never-ending quest to find
innovative advertising options and new ways to market the site and products to
gamblers. Well, this time the creative geniuses at their advertising agencies
were thrown a bone and the Channel 4 Racing network is ready to hand a prime
advertising opportunity to one lucky online casino and betting company.
Horserace betting is a huge sport in the UK and there are certainly several
dozens of companies vying for the favor of the UK’s many land and online
bettors. That’s part of why the announcement that Channel 4 is looking for a
partner comes as such a surprise – it’s a great idea and a great opportunity and
there is little chance that one of the top betting companies won’t swoop in and
nail down this proposed partnership.
Channel 4 Racing announced just last week that the company is looking for a
partnering land and online casino betting company to handle the 60-second live
television odds updates for players right before the horserace starts. There is
no indication yet which of the online casinos and betting groups have come
forward with offers for this lucrative partnership opportunity but speculation
and rumor notes that all of the major hitters are in the discussions – this
includes Ladbrokes and Will Hill for sure and likely Paddy Power as well.
The planned advertisement is an entirely new concept and this is the first
season it will be implemented – if successful though there is every reason to
assume that the network would look to make strategic partnerships with land and
online bookies on an annual basis.
