CFO Leaving Software Developer
The latest online casino gambling industry news has the Playtech Chief Financial
Officer leaving the company after only a year working at Playtech. Guy Emodi
announced his plans to leave the prominent online casino software development
company but also noted that he will stay on for a time to ensure that the
transition to a new CFO runs smoothly. The internet gambling industry is rampant
with top professionals switching companies every couple of years and the such,
so for may this announcement comes as little surprise. With Emodi’s official
resignation in place and common knowledge, the company is now actively searching
for a new CFO to fill the spot.
Thankfully though, Playtech has the time to find a new CFO – Moshe Barak was the
former CFO at Playtech and currently acts as executive director. Barak will act
as CFO for the online casino software development company until a suitable
replacement can be found. And as noted, not only is Barak a former CFO, but
Emodi also noted that he will stay on long enough to ensure a smooth transition.
Though shifts in upper level management at the online casinos is quite common,
some were actually a tad confused as to why Emodi is leaving after only a year
at Playtech. And as for where Emodi plans to go? The only information given
indicates that Emodi is looking to “pursue other business interests.” All of the
concern aside though, both sides are very positive about the resignation which
indicates that there is no bad-blood between Playtech and Emodi. |
