How Will the Mobile Industry Perform
You can’t seem to look at the industry news these days without a slew of reports
still noting that the global online casino gambling industry is expected to
experience extreme growth and surges throughout the next five years. Not only
have many analysts remarked about this possibility, but extensive research
studies and additional information has been gained to come to that conclusion.
But outside of the online casinos there are other sectors of the industry that
could prove just as lucrative according to the newest research released from
Research and Markets. The mobile gambling industry has been very successful over
the past year but the recent research is only cautiously optimistic about the
mobile gambling sector’s growth between 2008-2013.
One of the key problems highlighted in the research really focuses on the fact
that the online casinos are an entirely different beast from the mobile casinos
and gambling sites. Internet gambling has had some very distinct regulatory
hurdles to overcome, but those obstacles look like a piece of cake compared to
the regulatory problems facing the mobile gambling industry as it looks to enter
more markets. Gambling at the mobile online casinos has been successful in only
a select number of European markets. Once the industry begins to branch out and
adhere to the varied regulations in nearly every market it will be a whole lot
tougher to comply with all of the specifications.
The Research and Markets report data was released just last week in a report
titled “Mobile Gambling: Casinos, Lotteries and Betting 2008-2013.” The report
is the most thorough of its kind to specifically focus not on the future of the
online gambling market as a whole, but rather the very niche sector of the
mobile gambling industry. |
