Aussies Support Charities
Land and online caisno poker gambling has really taken off all over the world,
and despite the fact that the Aussies have some reservations about the internet
gambling industry, poker is wholly approved of and the country actually also has
its own World Series of Poker champion as a claim to fame. The great thing about
Aussies, and really many celebrities is their enthusiasm to lend their image and
celebrity to charity causes – the most recent cause just happens to be near and
dear to the hearts of many in the land and online casino poker gambling
industries.
The latest land charity poker event is hosted out of Melbourne and will feature
the star-power of Joe Hachem, an Aussie who previously took the WSOP top title.
The receiving charity on this upcoming even is often supported by the land and
online casino gambling industry. The Shane Warne Foundation accepts donations
and all of the funds are then distributed to other charities that are doing
noble work with underprivileged kids all over the world.
The Shane Warne Downunder poker game takes place at Melbourne’s Crown Casino and
will invite a wide range of poker gamblers from both the land and online casino
gambling industry to participate and raise money for this noble cause. In
addition to the poker game the event will offer a silent auction and other
special events to raise even more money. The charity has already raised and
distributed more than $1.7 million to related charities. First prize is a
whopping $25,000 – certainly nothing to sneeze at considering the event is
designed as a fundraiser. |
