Next Door Neighbors
Online casinos gambling has nothing on the new live television gambling market
that is slowly building in the United Kingdom. There is no doubting the fact
that NetPlay is gaining a player-base of gamblers who embrace the new format
that takes internet gambling one step even further into a player’s home. And
though NetPlay and the Sky Interactive network are certainly gaining popularity,
there is naturally still an extremely healthy online casinos gambling industry
in the UK – in fact the player base and market on the two types of interactive
gambling are not mutually exclusive, and one can grow without diminishing the
player base on the other medium. This is the case for NetPlay, an interactive
gambling company that just announced the acquisition of a new gambling channel
to compliment the company’s existing offerings.
The announcement means that the NetPlay company will now offer live gambling on
two back-to-back channels – both Sky Channel 848 and 847. These two channels
will offer land and online casinos gamblers the chance to play “Live Blackjack”
(on 848) and the existing station, “Live Roulette” (on 847).
The CEO at NetPlay commented on the new possibilities for his company and for
gamblers now that interactive gambling options are expanding. He notes, “This is
another key milestone in the evolution of our business. Blackjack is the most
popular game in traditional [and online casinos] and as such it was a natural
progression for us to launch a “live” TV version of this popular game. Having a
dedicated channel next door to our successful “Live Roulette” channel on Sky 847
makes perfect sense, allowing our customers to easily flick between channels
depending on which game they want to play.”
NetPlay is an innovation in the internet and interactive gaming sectors as it is
the only company of its kind really anywhere in the world. The unique
interactive capabilities of the UK’s Sky channels mean the enhanced ability to
bring new technologies to the consumers. |
