Hope for Washington Online Casinos Gamblers
The problems plaguing the United States right now are too numerous to actually
list, but the ongoing online casinos gambling issue is of a top concern to many
politicians and player interest groups. And although the internet gambling
question is certainly playing into national politics right now, several states
are having their own problems with the issue. Washington is currently the only
U.S. state that has taken a very harsh stance on the online casinos gambling
issue. Many all over the U.S. are outraged by what are termed draconian
Washington State laws that make internet gambling a Class C felony offense.
The Washington State gambling issue has been on the Poker Player’s Alliance (PPA)
radar for many months now, and a Washington politician who also supports the PPA,
Lee Rousso, was actually running for governor before deciding to drop out of the
race. And although many in the online casinos gambling industry were surprised
by Rousso’s decision to exit the race, a new candidate for the race has actually
shown surprising intolerance for the State’s current internet gambling policy.
Dino Rossi is currently running for the governorship and Rossi surprised some
voters on a radio show last week. Rossi actually firmly expressed the opinion
that the current online casinos gambling laws are too harsh at present and that
internet is not an offense akin to child pornography (another Class C felony
offense). Rossi’s statements on the Dori Monson show last week led many online
casinos gamblers to hope that there is a viable alternative candidate who may
affect change in the state’s current outrageous internet gambling policy.
