Duking it Out at PokerStars

The PokerStars online casinos gambling site had a health turnout for the site’s Sunday Guaranteed Millions tournament last weekend, enough so that the prize pool exceeded the million. The tournament came down to a final heated battle that saw two of the top online casinos poker gambling professionals in the industry duking it out to take home the title of Sunday Million Champion. The two players, the British player “Iron Henry” and the American player “ShankingYou” faced off after agreeing to a unique deal that split the final award in half with an extra $30,000 going to the eventual winner.

As the game turned out, “Iron Henry” took home $163,421.20 in first place winnings, while “ShankingYou” was close to winning, but went home with second place winnings of $133,421.20. ShankingYou is a prominent heads-up online casinos poker gambler from the U.S., but in the end the British player just had the right cards and the right skills to win the big money.

Beyond just these two players though, other online casino poker gamblers took home prizes for placing in the top ten, and surprising to some, many U.S. players placed in the top ten. Because of the U.S. ban on internet gambling and poker there are fewer numbers of U.S. players at the European internet poker rooms. But obviously the player shave found a way around the restrictions, and according to the PokerStars site, the U.S. players occupied four of the ten final spots in the Guaranteed Millions tourney.

Other fun online casinos poker tournaments last Sunday included a win by Norwegian internet poker players at the PokerStars Freeze-out and Stud Hi/Lo.
