Ascot Players Will Be Paid
The latest reports from the Ascot online casinos gambling group indicate that
the company is actually closing down operations, but internet gamblers have
nothing to fear, the site plans to pay out all monies owed to players including
winnings and account balances. The Ascot gambling group is located and licensed
from the Isle of Man, and according to the recent press statement on the
company’s closing, the regulators are actively monitoring the company as it pays
out players. At this point the online casinos gambling group is wholly
transparent in its dealings with the players and about the closing, so gamblers
really have nothing concrete to fear concerning their money.
Ascot is owned by Vincent Tan, and there really was no prior indication that Tan
planned to close down the Ascot online casinos gambling group. At the same time
though, a representative for the Department of Trade and Industry at the Isle of
Man, Garth Kimber commented on why the internet gambling group plans to close.
He notes, "It is a commercial business decision by the parent company to stop
operating in the online gambling arena.”
Kimber continued to assuage the online casinos players concerns by noting that
all is going according to schedule and that the gambling regulators at the Isle
of Man are on top of the situation. Kimber’s statement included, "At present
there are no major identifiable problems with the process. The Gambling
Commission will continue to liaise with the company and monitor the situation.”
Considering the announcement was so unexpected by online casinos gamblers, the
reassurance by the DTI is well received. |
