Slow But Progress
The Microgaming online casinos software development company recently released
the latest information on the liquidation of the Tusk gambling group to all
concerned players. Tusk announced just months ago that the company’s finances
were in dire straits and that Tusk was now seeking to liquidate the company. At
that point Microgaming pulled the company’s license to use Microgaming online
casinos gambling software and also released the information to the public that
the site was going through some changes – specifically liquidation. Since that
point Microgaming has consistently followed-up on the issue and released
information to those concerned online gamblers as frequently as possible.
And although Tusk has not consistently communicated with Microgaming on the
state of the liquidation, Tusk did announce that a Brisbane-based liquidator had
been chosen to handle the lengthy process. At this point the liquidator is
seeking to sell six of Tusk’s previously popular online casinos gambling sites.
There is speculation that the sale is going to Tusk’s Australian competition and
neighbor, the Casino Rewards online gambling group. No word yet on what Tusk and
the liquidators plan to do in regards to the online gambling group’s other
holdings – including poker gambling sites.
Microgaming also noted that the Tusk has announced that the liquidation process
could last for a significant amount of time – something that is flat-out
unavoidable because of the legalities involved in liquidating the company.
Microgaming will, naturally, continue to monitor the situation and will continue
to update online casinos gamblers whenever new information is available.
Microgaming did note that Tusk anticipates releasing more information on player
accounts in the coming weeks. |
