Positive Predictions for 2008
The Playtech online casinos gambling group released its 2007 results report, and
as most industry analysts predicted, the company performed strongly in all
current divisions of the company and has moved significantly into the global
internet gambling industry. The company has spent most of 2007 restructuring and
refocusing efforts into the Asian and European online casinos gambling industry,
and by all indications the company will continue that focus into 2008. The
current company strategy is apparently effective considering Playtech’s report
indicates that revenues surpassed the $100 million mark, and investors will see
a handsome dividend on shares.
The Non-Executive Chairman at the online casinos gambling group, Roger Withers,
was very positive in his predictions for 2008. He remarked, "I am pleased to
report another strong set of full year results for Playtech with all key
performance indicators performing ahead of targets.” Withers then elaborated
that the online casinos gambling group has "had an excellent start to 2008 and
the Board is highly confident of the Group's performance for 2008 and beyond and
its ability to maintain our position as the world's leading provider of software
solutions to the online gaming industry."
So far this year Playtech has reported six new companies licensing the Playtech
platform of online casinos and poker games and the company noted in a statement
that many other licensee deals are in the works. Then add to that the fact that
Playtech will release P2P games in development with AsianLogic, and the company
is well on its way to a successful first quarter of 2008. |
