Changes at an Online Casino Software Company
CryptoLogic is one of the top software development companies in the internet
gambling industry and a leader in cutting edge online casinos games. Over the
past year CryptoLogic has made some significant changes to the company’s
long-term goals and marketing strategy. And through all of these changes, CEO
Javaid Aziz has led CryptoLogic into a new phase in the online casinos gambling
industry and traveled with the company to its new Dublin, Ireland headquarters
(after moving main headquarters out of Calgary, Canada as a way to better access
the European gambling market.
Aziz has been the CEO at CryptoLogic for nearly a year now and has achieved
positive results with the online casinos software development company; despite
that, Aziz has announced that he is stepping down as CEO of CryptoLogic. Aziz
comments on his decision, "In a dynamic business, it's never an easy time to
make a personal decision, but I do so with great satisfaction about
CryptoLogic's accomplishments, and great confidence in its future. CryptoLogic
has achieved renewed stability and profitability in the past year, and the
company is set for continued global growth in the years to come."
This announcement comes on the heels of CryptoLogic’s announcement that it will
begin a new marketing strategy as a way to acquire new licensees and appeal to
more of the European online casinos gambling industry. The company has refocused
efforts away from merely sustaining current licensees, but rather to an
expansion strategy that will both focus on the European market as well as the
emerging Asian online casinos gambling industry.
Along with the announcement that he will be spending more time with his family,
Aziz announced that Brain Hadfield will take his place as CEO going forward into
2008. Hadfield has spent the last year at CryptoLogic working as a director and
is “perfectly suited to build on the strategy set by Javaid Aziz," remarks the
CryptoLogic Chairman, Bob Strikeman. |
