Online Casinos Sportsbetting Site Imminent
The sportsbetting industry can expect a new high profile sportsbetting site by
the end of 2008 according to the Executive Chairman at William Hill. Will Hill
is a very popular land and online casinos gambling site, and most in the
industry are confident that the new sprotsbetting site will hold up to the
company’s high standards. And though the online casinos gambling group announced
that the site would be released sooner than late 2008, the date was pushed back
by a delay in software development.
The land and online casinos gambling group announced that it would push back the
resale of a sportsbetting division of the company because of problems in
developing proprietary and in-house sportsbetting software. After beginning to
develop sportsbetting software early 2007, the company decided to scrap those
efforts and instead chose a company from which to license the online casinos
software.
And though Will Hill has not announced which company it has decided to go with
for sportsbetting software, speculation in the online casinos and gambling
industry poing to Orbis as a leading contender for consideration. Both companies
are neither confirming nor denying the questions.
And as for a release date, the Executive Chairman at Will Hill, Charles Scott,
(he is acting in stead for the CEO while Will Hill is in the process of hiring a
new CEO) comments on the release of the online casinos sportsbetting site has
been pushed back a year because of the search for a suitable software provider.
But the company reports that the site will be launched in the fourth quarter of
2008.
