Players Appreciate Online Casino Support
The online casinos industry does not have a reputation for stellar customer
service – but all of that may be changing according to recent research from an
independent reseach company, Talisma. The company looked at the levels of player
and customer satisfaction at online casinos in the United Kingdom. Players often
use the internet gambling forums and message boards to warn of gambling Web
sites with hard to reach or ineffective customer service representatives.
Perhaps because of the increasingly bad reputation at the online casinos, or
because of stricter U.K policies and regulations, Talisma found that the
customer service levels are improving in UK internet gambling companies.
Another theory about why customer service levels has increased is due to the
increase in competition at the online casinos. As more and more interne gambling
sites enter the market, players have more options and are not forced to continue
to gamble at a site with poor customer support.
Increasingly effective implementation of technology is another reason that
Talisma sites for the improvement in customer service at the online casinos –
the sites do not have to solely rely on phone support systems to connect with
players, but can instead connect via live chat rooms, email question and
response, as well as additional communication methods.
But even with a seven percent increase in customer service levels across the
researched online gambling sites, the Vice President at Talisma, Jon McNerney
remarked, "While it is encouraging that the UK online casinos gambling sector
has significantly improved customer service in 2007 there is still huge scope
for improvement."
