The online casinos poker industry has a new contender to consider, Cecilia Borg, a 22 year old player from a very remote part of Sweden. Borg has only recently come on to the internet poker scene and while not playing at the professional level, Borg has put an impressive win under her belt. Borg took home the top prize at the annual Bet365.com Poker Leader board Challenge.

Bet265’s online casinos poker tournament brought out some of the top players in the internet poker industry all vying for the top spot on the leader board and a shot at the sizable prize package. By winning the tournament, Borg has a spot in every land-based WPT and EPT poker tourney. And while land tourneys are not exactly the player’s forte, she “can’t wait to play in Monte Carlo, Barcelona and London.” Borg elaborated, “I haven't traveled that much so it really is exciting."

Winning at the online casinos poker tourney hasn’t gone completely to her head though. Borg is a teacher in Västerbotten, Sweden, and though she hasn’t ruled out going professional she will wisely wait to see “if all goes well at the WPT and EPT tournaments.”

The other players who lost to Borg can make plans for next year’s online casinos Poker Leader board Challenge at Bet365.com. The site anticipates a similar prize package with cash prizes of roughly $130,000.
