Spam is Just Out of Control

The internet is a freeing medium – individuals are able to communicate like never before, they can even shop through the internet and gamble at the online casinos. Websense Security Labratories uses ThreatSeeker software to track spam levels worldwide and the spam figures for the second half of 207 were quite simply absurd. According to Websense, 87 percent of the email messages sent worldwide were spam messages.

Then consider that many of the spam messages contain malicious worms, bots, Trojans and other threats, and online casinos players should increase their computer security software and certainly beware of suspicious emails. The internet is both a liberating medium and one that brings a whole new set of threats right into our homes and to our personal computers.
