2007 In Line with Predictions
Although 2007 was a rough year for many companies in the online casinos gambling
industry that were forced out of the U.S. market. Party Gaming was one of the
handful of popular Web gambling sites that faced no long-term action and fines
from the U.S. government – that has enabled the company to turn a profit this
year that is actually slightly ahead of predictions. Party Gaming is a top
online casinos gambling choice for many players and is constantly expanding into
new markets as a way to strengthen the company’s viability and stability without
the U.S. player base.
A strong fourth quarter is primarily responsible for such a positive year end
report for the online casino. Not only is Party Gaming ahead of expectations for
performance in 2007, but the company has shown a significantly higher revenue
for 2007 than the previous year. Pre-tax revenue for the company is nearly $450
million according to initial calculations. The online casinos company has not
released the official report at this point but the CEO at Party Gaming, Mitch
Garber, is confident that the company will certainly come in ahead of industry
predictions.
Garber announced that Party Gaming returned high revenue for the past year, and
primarily attributed the increase as a part of a restructuring specifically
within the online casinos customer loyalty program. Although there were parts of
the program that actually showed a decrease, the overall effect of the new
customer loyalty was a rise in poker revenue and a slight decrease in net
revenue at the online gambling company. But before anyone can question the new
program, Garber assures that the drop in net revenue was anticipated and will be
offset in other areas of the casino that will slowly show an increase over the
coming years. |
