The Cornerstones of Party Gaming Policy
Recovering from a loss of a large portion of the company’s player base caused
Party Gaming to instead focus on a new market and increasing programs and
services that impact the online casinos players. Party Gaming faces tough
competition from other internet casinos that offer similar services and gambling
choices – companies like 888.com and others are direct competition. But to
combat the lure of other online casinos, Party Gaming has followed an outlined
strategy that really focuses on putting the player at the forefront of
consideration.
The CEO at Party Gaming, Mitch Garber, commented on the company’s strategies and
plans for the coming year. He remarks, "We continue to build on the four pillars
of our strategy: growing the player base, localising the customer offer and
broadening the product base whilst acting responsibly."
The online casinos fiasco with the United States is actually not officially
over, Party Gaming and rival 888 are still in talks with U.S. government
officials about releasing the companies from paying fines for operating internet
gambling in the U.S. prior to the UIGEA. Once the U.S. either forces the
companies to pay fines for operating the online gambling, or releases the
companies from future legal action Party Gaming and 888.com will most likely be
inundated with offers from other companies in the online casinos inudusty.
While handling the situation with the U.S. online casinos ban, Garber noted that
the company’s 2007 “results show that [Party Gaming has] built a solid platform
for growth... and we remain confident about the Group's future prospects." |
