U.S. Online Poker Gambling Community
The United States’ Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) may have
dampened the number of online casinos gamblers able to access real-money
internet gambling sites, but a new social networking poker gambling site is a
great alternative while the U.S. is sorting out the gambling ban. The National
League of Poker has announced that Mike Sexton will represent the League’s
online casinos poker gaming site designed for the U.S. The site combines the
idea of social networking sites with a free and legal poker gaming site.
The fact is, although the U.S. has banned online casinos gambling transactions,
there is still a vibrant community of poker players looking for a way to enjoy
the pastime from the comfort of their home. That’s where the NLOP.com poker
gaming site comes into play – players are able to compete in frequent online
tournaments and daily poker games. The new spokesperson for the site,
professional land and online casinos gambler Mike Sexton is very supportive of
the site, he remarks “This is much more than an online poker room; it is a
vibrant poker community.”
The NLOP is certainly excited to have Sexton on board and supportive of the
effort to bring an online poker community to U.S. gamblers. Sexton’s presence
will go a long way toward gaining new members and respect for the newly launched
online casinos poker community. NLOP CEO Michael Clebnik noted, “He is well
respected within the poker community and was also recognised as the top poker
ambassador at the Card Player Magazine Awards gala in 2006. His agreement
validates our position in this new and developing marketplace and we are
thrilled to have him on our team.”
As for why online poker gamblers should join the NLOP poker community, not only
is the site well-designed to facilitate not only poker play but social
interaction, but the site has already awarded cash and prizes to registered
members of the site totaling more than US $350,000; and that is just the
beginning the company is launching a new gaming platform in the coming weeks. |
