Online Casinos for Spain
The Spanish gambling market is opening up as regional governments are altering
the previously restrictive legislation that blocked many forms of land and
online casinos gambling in the country. Madrid is the first of the new regions
to begin licensing land gambling companies and William Hill is at the top of the
list of betting companies that will establish a presence in the Spanish betting
market. William Hill and partnering company Codere SA have announced that the
Madrid regional authorities have already approved the companies for a gambling
license, and the two companies have announced preliminary plans for the move
into the Spanish land and online casinos betting market.
William Hill is a top tier land and online casinos gambling and betting company
– the company is well established and highly reputable. As the company moves
into the Spanish market, it has teamed up with Codere to form a joint company
operating under the Victoria brand name.
Victoria is positioned to become a prominent land (and perhaps eventually online
casino based) betting company. The initial plans indicate that the company will
open 70 betting venues with a combined investment of Euro 20 million.
And even as the company moves into the Madrid region, it looks as though the
Valencia government is warming to the idea of land and online casinos gambling.
That region of Spain could open to betting and gambling activities in the coming
months, and there is every indication that the William Hill-Codere partnership
will pursue licensing in other regions of Spain as they open to licensing and
regulation. |
