Aggressive Strategies from CryptoLogic
A new year, a new CEO, and a new outlook for the world’s most popular online
casinos software development company. CryptoLogic provides some of the
graphically and technologically advanced internet gambling games – that combined
with exclusive brand licenses and the company certainly has a corner on the
industry. Combine that brand dominance with the company’s new expansion strategy
and CryptoLogic is sure to see significant growth in the coming months. New CEO
of the online casinos software development company, Brian Hadfield, commented
that the company is going in a new direction in 2008 and the coming years with a
much more prominent focus on expanding the company through acquisitions.
Hadfield took over the position as CEO just last month as the previous CEO chose
to step down from the position for family reasons. The online casinos gambling
company has previously relied on a number of established licensees to keep the
gaming software and product out to the consumers – and that was enough. But with
emerging and expanding gambling markets in Europe and the Asian-Pacific region
in particular, the company’s scope of the company’s 2008 were much more global
in their scope.
As for why the online casinos company has chosen to alter the company’s main
strategy at this point, Hadfield observed: "Two years ago we had a strategy of
fewer large licensees and we were less aggressive. Now it's a very different
market…a very different world…as the focus is not on the US but more on Europe
and Asia and therefore we have adopted a more aggressive outlook and strategy.”
In addition to the Casino.co.uk online casino advertising and education related
site that CryptoLogic acquired last year, Hadfield additionally noted that the
company has three other strategic acquisitions already lined up. Just last week
the company announced new interests and deals within the Asian gambling industry
with the Mahjong Time internet gaming company – from there only time will tell
how far the company’s influence spreads. |
