Company Philosophy Strong
The online casino gambling industry is most certainly not the place to go when
looking for high moral codes and companies run with the best interest of the
community in mind, but there are a few in the industry that stand apart from the
rest. A handful of major online casinos and poker gambling sites have begun to
give back to the community through a donation program (like Slotland) while
others have adopted a strong corporate philosophy that has led to positive
decisions based in an understanding that the company will grow if it acts
respectful of international laws and regulations while putting the online
gamblers ahead of profits. PartyGaming has announced another strong half-year
report that specifically notes that the company achieved these results without
engaging in business with the U.S. gambling market.
The U.S. government passed legislation that banned foreign online casinos for
accessing the U.S. gambling market, and although is significantly destroyed part
of the company’s business, PartyGaming willingly backed out of the U.S. market
until the legislation changes. Competitors however remain in the U.S. market and
are dubiously reaping the benefits of little competition for the gambling monies
of U.S. gamblers.
The CEO at PartyGaming, Jim Ryan commented on the company’s poker gambling
division, “Our poker business continues to grow but is being held back by the
continued competition from those sites that accept players from the US.” And
although PartyGaming is facing stiff competition from other online casinos and
poker gambling sites, the company continues to offer services only to markets
that have favorable internet gambling legislation. |
