Party Gaming has announced that the online casino gambling group has launched a live dealer format at the site’s casino and poker sites. The internet gambling just continues to become more and more competitive as the online casinos release new technology and new gaming formats to appeal to gamblers. Party Gaming is a very prominent brand in the European market and the company has spent the past nearly two year reestablishing its brand and developing a new player base after exiting the US online gambling industry in late 2006. Part of the company’s strategy to find a niche European market is fulfilled with the live dealer agreement that Party Gaming secured with Evolution Gaming.

The CEO at Party Gaming, Jim Ryan, recently elaborated on the planned implementation of the live dealer format at the company’s online casino. He notes, “We believe that 'live casino' will gain us access to players who enjoy and prefer the experience of watching croupiers dealing cards or spinning roulette wheels and calling 'place your bets' in real time that's great, live online gaming entertainment.”

This is a fairly new step for the mainstream internet gambling industry and the online casinos are only just beginning to diversify their platforms with innovative gaming concepts such as the live dealer format offered through Evolution Gaming. The new partnership is a first and it is anticipated that this new option will give Party Casino a needed edge over some of the intense competition in the European internet gambling market.
