But that is the crux of the problem, Poker Stars is one of only five or so poker gambling sites that have Mac-specific software. Poker gamblers on other online casino poker gambling sites are forced to use third party applications to make the software compatible.

For Mac users looking for immediate access to Mac-tailored software the new Poker Stars software is probably a first choice. Other options though include Poker Room-Ongame, Paradise Poker, Absolute Poker and Sun Poker. These companies offer online casino poker software that is either specifically designed for Macs or is at least Mac compatible. Party Gaming on the other hand has Mac poker software in the Beta testing phase and that fully-tested software should launch in the coming months.
