Bolcerek Still an Advocate
The Poker Players Alliance is a US organization formed with the purpose of
protecting poker players in the US from discrimination and to specifically
re-legalize online casino poker gambling in the states. The PPA has grown since
its early days in operation and now boasts more than one million members – a
fact that has now made the group a powerful lobbying force in Washington. The
former President of the PPA, and in fact the first PPA president, Michael
Bolcerek has popped back onto the radar and is still in the business of
advocating for poker and online casino gamblers. Bolcerek’s new position
Aristotle International is a natural extension of his concerns for the gamblers
themselves.
Aristotle International is a software technology company that has specifically
developed a product for the international online casino gambling industry that
effectively blocks underage gamblers from the site while also blocking
fraudsters and providing levels of protection for problem gamblers as well.
Aristotle announced Bolcerek’s appointment as Senior Vice President of Business
Development just last week. Bolcerek’s work for the online casinos and poker
sites has always been about focusing on the needs of the player. His new
position will allow him the opportunity to further the mission of the PPA in a
way – strong opposition for legalizing online gambling comes from those using
the underage gambling argument.
Blocerek on the other hand stands by the fact that this new technology and age
verification system can effectively eliminate underage gambling. Bolcerek
commented Aristotle and his personal reasons for joining the company, “The
biggest issues that I faced in trying to achieve success at the Poker Players
Alliance were two: Kids accessing on-line poker sites, and problem gambling.
Aristotle addresses both issues with services that are now used by leading
online poker sites both in the US and in Europe."
The software is already available to the online casino gambling market and can
actually be used to protect underage individuals from any number of adult themed
sites. |
