Online Casino Software for Russia
CryptoLogic has remained relatively silent for the better part of this year. The
online casino software development company restructured last year and spent the
year settling into the new Dublin headquarters. The company also restructured
the business plan itself as a way to exit the US internet gambling industry.
Throughout all of the restructuring there has been little huge news for
CryptoLogic – nothing that has captured the headlines of the media or the water
cooler talk at the online casinos. Out of nowhere is seems though CryptoLogic
announced a multi-million dollar deal with Kurastica to offer internet gambling
services to certain parts of Russia.
The announced deal has CryptoLogic and Kurastica teaming up to offer online
casino games to the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) of Russia. The
Russian internet gambling industry is very underdeveloped because of tight
control and restrictions on the industry. The deal with Kurastica though secures
CryptoLogic a firm place within the Russian internet gambling industry and the
multi-year deal means that CryptoLogic will have time to truly penetrate the
market and offer unique content for the Russian e-gaming industry.
Russian online casino gamblers won’t have to wait long either for the internet
gambling site. According to the information released on this new deal the two
companies plan to have an internet gambling site up and running in the first
quarter of 2009. CryptoLogic’s strategic marketing plans over the past year have
really focused on the country developing new and emerging markets and this
latest deal secures CryptoLogic a majority stake in the CIS online gambling
market. |
