Delegates Love Barcelona
Combining the pleasures of work and vacation was never so easy as at the EiG
annual conference in Barcelona two weeks past. The European i-Gaming Congress
and Expo featured a record number of delegates attending the event as well as a
surge in the expo activity. The EiG represents a conference that merges the expo
side of the event (new product and service releases from the online casinos)
with days filled with informative debates and guided discussion concerning the
state of the i-gaming industry. The conference is one of the largest of its kind
in the world and the event organizers, Clarion Gaming, have extensive expertise
in successfully organizing and running events for the online casino gambling
industry in particular.
The weekend conference event ran smoothly and the final numbers have just been
announced and an initial look at the results indicates that this was the
conference’s best year yet. Clarion Gaming announced that the conference hosted
28 more delegates than the previous year. The 1,544 delegates represented a wide
sampling of the online casino gambling industry and many of the delegates were
the top executives at some of biggest names in the industry. Last month’s event
featured key note speeches from the likes of David Kushner and Pete Picton and
the discussion topics covered some of the most pressing current concerns for the
global online casino and e-gaming industry.
Top executives who only had great follow up comments about the EiG include the
CEO of 888 Holdings, Gigi Levy; the CEO of Unibet, Peter Nylander; and many
other high level executives and managers from the top online casino gambling
companies in the European and international markets. |
