According to a spokesperson for Littlewoods the site will switch off of the WagerWorks gaming platform as of October 2, 2008.

A spokesperson for Littlewoods remarked on the situation officially and on the record. He noted, "I can confirm that Littlewoods Gaming is migrating over to the 888 network platform on the 2nd October....further information should be released shortly.” Coupled with the announcement of a new gaming platform for the online casino was the assurance that the transition would seamless for the internet gamblers.

Additional information was released concerning the player account balances that remain on the CryptoLogic gaming network. The Littlewoods spokesperson did not give any specific details and dates except to note that the company did plan to overlap the access to the sites. There will be a short period of time after October 2, 2008 when online casino gamblers can access their accounts to withdraw balances and transfer funds out of the account. More details are anticipated in the coming days.
