The couple, Sue and Paul Rosenau, are taking home $180 million from their jackpot win. And besides just the win, it is an indication for some online casinos gamblers that there are other choices out there besides just the internet gambling site that produce lucrative results. Now granted, banking on winning the lottery is a long-shot, but the chance is still there and many gamblers may have to content themselves with this form of gambling until new legislation winds its way through Congress.

As for the couple taking home the enormous jackpot, Paul expressed his extreme surprise, “I did not believe that the ticket that I had bought at a Hy-Vee Gas station in Faribault was the one that had beaten the 146,107,962 odds placed on it.” And though the win is truly large even by lottery standards, the fact that the couple chose to take a lump sum payment has reduced the winning to a mere $88 million after taxes. Considering the couple are both 54 years old, that decision certainly means they are set for retirement.
