An Inside Job
It seems that the online casino poker gambling industry is destined to work
through another major cheating scandal in less than a year. Last August the
Absolute Poker cheating scandal was uncovered by the poker gambling community,
and though the site at first claimed that the cheating claims weren’t valid, the
site eventually acknowledge that and Absolute employee was responsible for
cheating poker players out of hundreds of thousands in winnings. The Absolute
scandal came to a close at very beginning of this year, and mere weeks later
poker players uncovered a cheating scandal at Absolute’s sister sites, the
Ultimate Bet online casinos.
The scenario has played out in the same fashion, Ultimate Bet claimed for months
that the cheating allegations were false, but yet the online casino poker player
continued claims that there were players in the high-stakes tournaments with a
false advantage over other players. After months of denial, the gamblers at the
two online casinos are demanding that Ultimate Bet address the cheating that
took place earlier in the year.
The online casino poker gambling community has launched their own unofficial
investigation into the Ultimate Bet scandal, and although no charges will be
brought from the investigation, there are many who are more convinced than ever
that the company employee pulled off similar cheating tactics.
What is increasingly alarming and a fact that many internet poker gamblers have
noted is that the only two companies in the entire internet gambling industry to
have such scandals are both owned by Tokwiro Enterprises ENRG – and even
further, the Kahnawake Gaming Commission licenses both of the online casinos.
These two facts could provide valuable clues as to why the cheating allegations
continue. |
