Convenience Sells for Online Casinos
The online casinos gambling industry is at the tail end of the industry boom as
the activity launched onto the scene just a decade ago. The industry is still in
the expansion stage, but the huge boom is dying down as new forms of internet
based gambling begin to take over. Mobile gambling is an extension of online
gambling and industry experts anticipate that the mobile industry will continue
to grow significantly over the next several years as the convenience of the
industry grows in popularity with gamblers. The online casinos gambling industry
isn’t going anywhere, but industry analysts predict that the mobile gambling
boom will level off into a lasting industry running along side of the already
highly lucrative internet gambling industry.
The Business Director for the Remote Gambling Association (RGA), Brian Wright,
recently made observations about the mobile online casinos gambling industry in
an RGA statement. He remarked, “For a while now people have been saying mobile
gaming is the next big thing. I wouldn’t say that it will overtake the internet
but there will be a leveling off where one very much looks like the other.”
Mobile gambling has taken off because technology on cellular and mobile devices
has only continued to allow more internet based activities…and the screens size
on the devices is also increasing. The larger screen size means that more online
casinos gamblers are willing to use their devices for mobile gambling because
they are not compromising the gambling experience by shrinking down the screen.
Wright also noted, “You can now almost have the same display on your mobile
phone as you do on your PC.” This development in mobile devices as well as new
online gambling designs have boosted the usability of mobile gambling sites and
gaming platforms. |
