Macau is Wealthy

The island of Macau is receiving a lot of attention lately because the small Asian island has one the fastest growing land casino gambling industry in the world. Macau’s per capita is now up 27 percent from previous years – coming in just above US $36,000. The Asian territory is undoubtedly wealthy from land gambling (and perhaps online casinos in the near future) and now the Macau government is working on making the employment earnings and other issues catch up with the country’s increased wealth.
