Management Trains Social Responsibility
Managers from online casinos gambling companies all over the world are uniting
to learn more about problem and addictive gamblers. Beyond the regulations and
rules in certain licensing jurisdictions, many gambling companies understand how
important socially responsible behavior is when dealing with problem gamblers.
That is why nearly the managers at nearly 40 of the online casinos gambling
companies based all over the world attended a two-day conference in London on
the responsible gambling principles.
The two-day event was hosted and run by the UK’s two most prominent online
casinos gambling advocacy groups. GamCare is a prominent charity that works with
internet gambling companies to improve policies and restrictions that aid
problem and addictive gamblers. eCOGRA (eCommerce and Online Gambling Regulation
and Assurance) on the other hand is a player advocacy group that assesses and
certifies online casinos and gambling companies for “Safe and Fair” practices.
These two companies worked together to form a weekend program that covered the
basic principles of socially responsible gambling practices, as well as ways to
identify and help problem gamblers. The Managing Director at GamCare, Andrew
Poole, notes that the online casinos gambling companies represented at the
weekend event will leave with valuable knowledge and support. He commented,
"This course will give you sufficient information and insight to set up a solid
responsible gambling program at your companies if you have not already done so."
With online casinos gambling rising in popularity all over the world, watchdog
and support organizations stress the importance of preemptive steps to prevent
and help addicted gamblers. |
