Expansion Plans for Genting

Online casinos gambling companies have one of a dozen of choices when it comes to picking a licensing authority, and though they all have similar benefits, there are clearly superior jurisdictions. One reason for an internet gambling company to be choosy when picking a licensing jurisdictions centers on the fact that only a handful of jurisdictions are approved for the UK “white list,” which allows online casinos gambling companies to advertise for gambling activities in the UK. And though arguably not one of the top jurisdictions, the Alderney Gambling Control Commission has issued an online gambling license to Genting International according to recent comments from Genting.

Genting International is an Asian-facing online casinos gambling company with an interest in operating internet gambling and gaming for the emerging Asian industries. Based out of Malaysia and now licensed in the British Channel Islands (Alderney), Genting plans to go live on its online casino gambling site by the end of the second financial quarter – pending approval of course from the Alderney Gambling Control Commission.

Although Genting is already licensed to offer online casinos gambling, once the site is ready to go live the company will have to pass through the approval of the Commission. The Commission will check the company’s Internal Control System and the specific gambling equipment Genting uses to offer online gambling. Once the site goes live, Genting has announced that the company has permission from the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Ltd to offer Asian internet gambling services.

The deal with Singapore to offer online gambling games in the coming months is expected to significantly grow the company’s 2008 profits and revenue.
