Online Casino Foe's Further Problems
The former New York governor and long-tome opponent to online casinos gambling,
Eliot Spitzer could face even more prostitution charges. Police busted Governor
Spitzer in a undercover operation that spanned many months and implicated
Spitzer in a prostitution ring. When the Governor’s multiple uses of a
prostitution company came to light in the police investigation, Spitzer
announced his resignation. But that hasn’t stopped the subsequent scandal
surrounding the prostitution allegations, largely because Spitzer was known for
his righteous stance on immoral and unethical behaviors – online casinos
gambling included.
Now the latest allegations tie Governor Spitzer to yet another prostitution
company – this time a company called Wicked Models. The company’s manager,
Kristen Davis has been arrested and held on a $2 million bail because she is a
flight risk. And although there are no hard facts tying Spitzer to this latest
prostitution bust, the New York Post’s unnamed source alleges that Spitzer had
hired Davis previously.
Spitzer made his political reputation because of he was dedicated to weeding out
corruption in the government and politics. And his platform focused on increased
emphasis on eliminating prostitution and online casinos gambling activities from
New York.
There is no indication yet if the police have actually tied former Governor
Spitzer to this latest prostitution ring, but it will certainly make news if new
evidence comes to light as the police continue their investigation. As for the
causes that Spitzer targeted – online gambling among there, only time will tell
if the new governor takes the same route.
