Losing a Veteran?
Speculation was rampant on June 29, 2008 that Warren Cloud has died of a heart
attack while out on his boat off the coast of Ibiza, Spain. Cloud was extremely
well known in the online casino gambling industry not only because of his
immense success in the industry, but also because of the questionable business
practices that have plagued his career in the internet gambling industry. Cloud
founded half a dozen successful online casinos, all of which continue to operate
on the Real Time Gaming platform. There are no confirmed or official reports
releasing the information, but several reputable industry news outlets have
carried the story.
As for his career in the online casino gambling industry, Cloud originally
launched into the industry with an unsuccessful internet gambling venture in
South Africa. The gambling site was targeted at Johannesburg residents and
although had some registered gamblers, Cloud backed out of the South African
online casinos industry and instead focused on more established markets:
Australia and Europe were tops on the list. Although his venture into the South
African gambling industry failed, and Cloud actually left some players
high-and-dry without their payouts, the launch into the new markets proved
successful immediately.
Cloud’s online casinos all operate exclusively on the RTG gambling platform and
some of the larger of his brands include: Crystal Palace, High Rollers Lounge,
Royal Circus Casino, the Golden Nile Casino, and the list goes on. His online
gambling ventures have been plagued by industry rumors over the past several
years, but the brands remain reliable and popular in the gambling industry.
GambleCraft will provide an update as soon as this information is officially
