Online Casino Gamblers Have a Shot
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) event is ongoing in Las Vegas and some of the
hottest land and online casino poker players in the world are still in the event
– hoping to take home some nice winnings before the close of the event and the
final table in November. Interestingly, a large portion of the international
poker professionals from all over the world are participating in the WSOP – more
than in previous years. But at same time, some of the lesser-known gamblers are
making it to the final table of some of the hardest events to-date.
This really leaves hope for some of the great poker players who won a trip to
the WSOP through their favorite online casinos – although the professionals are
out in high numbers at the tourney, lesser known players still have a shot at
the high cash jackpots.
The latest WSOP event that ended just yesterday is proof that some of the major
land and online casino poker professionals are just not having luck on their
side this tourney. The Pot-Limit Hold'em competition ended up with a very unique
final table line-up.
Most of the major poker and recognizable pros (who are popular at the land
tourneys and online casino events) didn’t event make it to the final table of
the WSOP event 38. Instead poker pro David Kitai, out of Belgim took home the
winnings - $244 546 was the first place share, along with bragging rights and a
WSOP bracelet. And though the Belgium winner is certainly not an amateur in the
industry, his win does give some hope for the online casino poker players still
in the game. |
