Company Has a Lot on its Plate
Victor Chandler has announced the launch of its new software platform – and
while the online casino gambling group should have a lot to celebrate right now,
some of the celebration is dimmed by the ongoing issues with the Malaysian
government. As GambleCraft has previously covered, more than a dozen Victor
Chandler employees are currently released on bail after being arrested and
jailed for some undefined and nebulous allegations. Operating online casinos
targeted at Malaysian gamblers is illegal in the country, and though VC asserts
that the company has done anything illegal, the case is ongoing and really puts
a bit of a damper on the news that VC is now operating on GTS’ EdGE gaming
platform.
The VC online casino gambling group chose to upgrade its software to the EdGE
platform because of the growing international recognition for Gaming Technology
Solution’s products. VC operates within varying sectors of the internet gambling
industry – from online casinos to poker sites and sportsbetting. The features in
the EdGE platform are specifically designed to not only appeal to the players
and gamblers, but to also give the company increased practical back-end
navigability.
GTS is gaining recognition all over the world for its unique “open” software
platform that gives online casinos new options that were never before featured
on a gaming platform. The 888.com gambling group has even chosen to include the
EdGE platform in its new integrated gaming platform. The Casino and Games
Marketing Manager at VC, Andy Dymock, noted the reason the company chose to use
GTS software, “The EdGE platform has been seamlessly integrated with our own
existing back office management system to provide customers a broad array of new
game titles ideally suited to complement both our sports, casino and poker
products.”
The new VC EdGE games and gaming platform is currently available at the VC
online gambling, betting, and poker sites, and it is still too early to tell
when the company will find resolution with the situation in Malaysia. |
