Will Hill has faced step competition within the internet casino gambling industry over the past year – the company’s sportsbetting operations have not performed as well as anticipated. Add to that the fact that Will Hill was forced to write off GBP 22 million when the company’s project to design an in-house sportsbetting platform failed. Instead, now Will Hill will offer a new gaming and sportsbetting platform that will rival even the top online casinos in the industry.

The new platform will launch in November of this year according to recent press statements from William Hill. The company has already launched several new online casino games on the existing sportsbetting site in an effort to stop the declining revenues. As competition in the internet gambling industry has multiplied, companies like Will Hill, with a prominent presence in the land gambling and betting industry, are forced to play catch-up with the newer online casinos.

Will Hill anticipates that the new casino gaming platform will draw in significantly more business to the company’s internet sportsbetting operations. With so much of an emphasis on gambling through the online casinos, Will Hill is eager to release the redesigned sportsbetting site. And according to CEO Ralph Topping, Will Hill is aiming for 25 to 30 percent gross wins for the company’s internet businesses. Topping observes, "That kind of growth is there for us to aim for but we'll set formal targets early next year," after the new online gaming platform has fully launched.
