International Recognition
The eCOGRA player advocacy and protection group has announced that another
prominent licensing jurisdiction has recognized eCOGRA for its superior online
casino gambling testing processes. eCOGRA is operates out of London and is
heavily involved in international efforts to create a safe gambling environment
for players. The player protection organization is widely used by the top online
casinos in the industry, and the company’s “Fair and Safe” seal is an
internationally recognized seal that indicates that the site is continually
monitored for safe and fair gambling practices. The Isle of Man Gambling
Supervision Commission officially recognized eCOGRA for its efforts with the
online gambling industry and gave the company accreditation for the Isle of Man.
eCOGRA is already very prominent in the online casino gambling industry, and the
company is continually seeking accreditation in the major licensing
jurisdictions so that the organization can continue to provide superior gambling
services for the international internet gambling industry. The CEO at eCOGRA,
Andrew Beveridge, elaborated on the company’s pervasiveness, "Over 130 tier one
online casinos and poker rooms currently use our test and audit services, and we
number 25 leading operator companies and 16 quality software providers among our
clientele. In addition, we have the added scrutiny of the leading audit firm
KPMG through its annual quality assurance reviews, thus providing an unrivalled

eCOGRA recently worked with other gaming operators around the world to create a
set of minimum standards for the industry, the eGaps provide online casinos with
guidelines socially responsible and reliable operations. Additionally though,
eCOGRA’s main services relate to accrediting online casino gambling companies
and continually monitoring and testing the organization’s accredited gambling
sites. eCOGRA uses its Total Gaming Transaction Review technology, among other
established technologies and services to keep track of the gambling sites.
The accreditation from the Isle of Man Commission is a step in the right
direction and Beveridge also notes, “We are delighted that a regulator of the
calibre of the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission has accepted our
credentials, audit experience and professional qualifications after intensive
study.” eCOGRA requested the accreditation from the Commission and submitted a
series of presentations and outlines of the organization’s standards for
testing, methodologies and how it reviews the casinos.
