Hundreds Make it to the Main Event
 

The land and online casino poker industry is focused in one spot right now – the Las Vegas World Series of Poker event. The WSOP is the largest land poker tournament in the world and throughout the course of the multi-month long touney players have access to hundreds of millions in prize monies. Each event at the WSOP can generate a prize pool of upwards of $2 million for just that event – so successful land and online poker gamblers can find themselves with some serious winnings at the end of the event. All of the excitement is also an impetus for the online casinos to offer incentive promotions and seats to the main event.

Poker Stars, a top international online casino poker gambling site, has announced that Poker Stars players participating in the weekend qualifiers will have the chance to win one of two hundred seats to the WSOP Main Event. All of the online casinos have offered some sort of WSOP promotion and seats to the tournament. But Poker Stars has, by far, surpassed all of the other sites in terms of seats available.

The promotion is worth $2.5 million because all of the gamblers receive a buy-in to the main event, plus airfare and accommodations for their time in Las Vegas. All of the prize packages are values at $12,500 each. The lucky online casino gamblers will join some of the other poker pros already participating in the various WSOP events – the WSOP has run 30 of the 55 events so far and will continue running into July, with the main event culminating the event, and then a several month delay until the Final Table.
