Bigger Than Ever
The fifth season of the European Poker Tour (EPT) may just be the best one yet
according to the tour organizers and some of the land and online casino gamblers
already gearing up in anticipation of the event. The past four EPT’s have done
exceedingly well, poker gamblers from all over Europe headed out to the events
and entry into the poker competitions generated some of the largest prize pools
in a tournament to-date. The EPT welcomes gamblers of all levels from amateurs
at the online casinos, to the professional poker pros who travel to the event as
a way to add another title to their names.
The Pokerstars.com online casino and poker gambling site is once again
sponsoring this year’s EPT. The tour runs for many months and travels through
nine different European locations – and for the first year ever, France is one
of the locations on the Tour that will entice the poker players out of their
homes and to the varying venues. All stops of the tour will welcome the land and
online casino gambling industry to participate in the competitive poker
tourneys.
The CEO for the EPT program, John Duthie, commented, "The new EPT season
includes all the events which have made the past four seasons such a triumph
with record fields across Europe and record prize pools. We have set very high
standards and aim to improve on this still further in Season 5." During the
fourth season of the land and online casino poker event, the EPT brought out
record numbers of gamblers. The event organizers anticipate that this year’s
players will also participate in record-breaking numbers – which means that the
prize pools at each leg of the tourney could also soar above past amounts. The
specific schedule of EPT stops is available a the official Web site.
