Recovering Online Casino Monies a Requirement
A representative from Warren Cloud’s online casino gambling groups recently
released a statement outlining the company’s planned closing date and player
protocol up until the company officially shuts down the gambling sites. Warren
Cloud passed away several weeks ago and caught the gambling industry by surprise
with the announcement of his death. While there was no immediate announcement
concerning the fate of Cloud’s numerous gambling brands and sites, a large
percentage of the sites abruptly shut down just days ago with no prior notice to
players from the online casinos. A spokesperson for the Crystal Palace gambling
site, Oliver Curran, only now contacted all of the site’s players just after
several days on intense confusion and concern.
Crystal Palace, along with other of Warren Cloud’s online casino gambling brands
actually performed very well in the European industry with a growing base of
players and a respected gambling platform. That’s why it is rather surprising
that Cloud’s casinos are shutting down so quickly after his death – they
certainly had the ability to continue sustaining themselves under the right
management.
But that is not the case and gamblers at his individual online casinos have been
given a deadline to either play out the rest of their account balance or cash
out their gambling accounts. Curran’s message to Crystal Palace gamblers
specifically gives player a July 31, 2008 deadline to empty their accounts
before the site’s virtual doors are officially closed. The announcement did
include provisions for players unable to withdraw their funds by the deadline –
but even with a 1-800 number given in Curran’s statement, online casino gamblers
are really just looking for clear communication and easy channels to retrieve
their remaining funds. Although Curran’s announcement asserted that gamblers
could continue to gamble at the Crystal Palace site until the company officially
closes its doors, the site is one of the several Cloud gambling brands that have
not been up and running for several days – so what should the players do? At
this point it seems as though the 1-800 number is the best course for action. |
