Interactive Poker Performances
Now artists, actors, and professional poker players can join their skills into
one to pull off the newest Las Vegas live show. The land casinos eagerly and
rapidly develop new live stage shows and entertainment for the many gamblers who
flock to the city of glitz and glamour for fun and excitement. With a sluggish
U.S. economy and competition from the online casinos (despite the fact that they
are banned in the U.S.), many of the major gambling companies are looking for
innovative ways to reenergize the Las Vegas gambling market. The Venetian Resort
and Casino announced this week that in just a few short months “The Real Deal”
live interactive poker gambling show will hit the stage.
The concept is entirely original and the Venetian asserts that the show is
designed for land and online casino gambling enthusiasts in addition to
non-players and the general public. With an interactive element to the show, new
wireless technology, and the addition of many fun prizes, the Venetian is hoping
to quickly find widespread appeal for this new show concept and format. Poker is
hugely popular all over the world and even though the U.S. economy is slowing,
and less land and online casino gamblers are heading out to Las Vegas for their
entertainment and gambling fix, the Venetian Resort and Casino is hoping that
the innovative concept and many free prizes offered throughout the show will be
enough to entice gamblers away from their homes.
The format of the show is a bit of comedy meets a fast-paced and action-packed
poker showdown between recognizable poker professionals in the land and online
casino poker gambling industries. Doyle Brunson, a poker pro and WSOP bracelet
holder commented on the new show concept, "The popularity of poker is
unquestioned, as is the viability of live game show experiences in Las Vegas.
The Real Deal! will keep guests laughing and give them the unique chance to get
into the heads of the world's best pros as they share tips and strategy
throughout the fast-paced game. We know it will quickly become a hot ticket.”
The show launches in the fall and will run at The Venetian Showroom – interested
individuals should check out The Venetian’s main site for more show time and
ticket information. |
