Gaining Mobile Revenues
The mobile gambling industry is looking better than ever to many European and UK
online casino gambling companies. Established gambling brands can easily and
quickly launch mobile gaming versions of their most popular products through
some of the new technology and software out on the market. With the mobile
gambling industry growing increasingly lucrative, online casinos servicing the
UK and Spanish markets in particular are launching branded mobile gaming
platforms. The UK based JackpotJoy.com online gambling site just announced this
week that the site is using Rapid Mobile Media technology (RMM) to launch the
Jackpot Joy mobile gaming site.
The online casino gambling industry is already a very lucrative sector of the
larger gambling industry – global gaming revenues are have exponentially
increased over the past several years. And though mobile gambling is a much
newer venture, online casinos are predicting that this new medium will only
continue to grow and expand in the coming years. The CEO at RMM, Jeremy Copp,
elaborated on the potential within the new partnership between RMM and Jackpot
Joy’s parent company, GameSys. He notes, “With Jackpotjoy.com's strong brand
reputation and extensive user base and the mobile delivery capabilities provided
by Rapid Mobile, we expect our relationship with Gamesys to demonstrate how
significant revenues can be derived from mobile gaming.”
The new deal between the two companies is just one of many such deals in recent
months. Although some in the online casino gambling industry were skeptical
about the long-term success and growth of the mobile gambling industry, this
sector has simply boomed within the UK market over the past year. Internet
gambling sites with a strong foothold in the UK market are finding the
transition easy and are also finding that many existing members at the sites
have brand loyalty and will thus use their preferred online casino when looking
for mobile gaming options as well. |
